Mexican President Sheinbaum responds to Trump: "The people have a say in Mexico"
In a post on the social media platform of American company X , Sheinbaum reacted to Trump’s remarks in the Oval Office, stating that “Mexico will do what we tell it to do.” Responding to Trump’s remarks without using his name, Sheinbaum said, “By the way, for anyone with the slightest doubt in their mind, a message from Mexico to the world: In Mexico, the people have a say.” Meanwhile, Sheinbaum made statements regarding the flight of a US drone over the state of Mexico at the daily press conference at the National Palace.
Sheinbaum explained that the flight was carried out at the request of the Mexican government due to the lack of necessary specialized equipment. "The flight was carried out by their teams because the aircraft belonged to the United States," he said. "However, this was carried out at the request of Mexico for a special investigation into organized crime in a specific region. The request was not related to immigration, but was made through one of the institutions we collaborate with."
